The Actuaries Institute approached Firefly to modernise the user experience (UX), information architecture, design and technical implementation of their website and event micro-sites.
The Actuaries Institute is the professional body representing the actuarial profession in Australia and is committed to promoting and maintaining a high standard of actuarial practice and representing and supporting its thousands of members.

We started by undertaking usability research, interviews and workshops with users. Using our findings, we created a strong visual aesthetic and distinct colour palette while reworking the information architecture, layouts and functionality to provide a sophisticated, user centric experience for the Institute’s members. We worked with Institute staff and the back office software vendors to implement a seamless user experience.
Integration between the chosen CMS, Sitefinity, and the back office software, Aptify, allowed staff to keep website content integrated with back office software with a minimum of fuss.
Firefly have worked closely with Actuaries Institute on several digital strategies, including branding, website development, online newsletters, digital magazines, and email marketing, to ensure a cohesive holistic brand voice.
